UNA LUZ PARA COMPRENDER QUE ENSEÑAR
ES APRENDER
¿En algún momento
de nuestras vidas hemos reflexionado acerca de lo que realmente nos apasiona,
de nuestros dones y talentos, y de la manera de compartirlos con otros?
A muchos de
nosotros nos falta claridad a la hora de descubrir esos dones, que dan sentido
a nuestra vida, y en mayor medida, nos falta claridad acerca de la forma
concreta de ponerlos al servicio de los demás, disfrutándolos aún en mayor
medida al compartirlos.
Parece que nos
diera miedo compartir, enseñar lo que sabemos. Hay un falso prejuicio, una
falsa modestia que nos frena, un no merecimiento, un no creer en nosotros
mismos. Quizá exista en el fondo un miedo a no hacerlo lo suficientemente bien,
a ser juzgados y no aceptados. Y sin embargo el primer juicio es el nuestro, el
cual nos impide lanzarnos y “salir del armario”, caminar hacia delante sabiendo
que estamos haciendo lo correcto. Y lo correcto es compartir lo que sabemos. Para
ello es esencial que creamos y confiemos en nosotros mismos y nos demos una
oportunidad. Los fallos y errores sirven únicamente para aprender de ellos y
hacerlo mejor la próxima vez, y continuar así avanzando en nuestro propio
proceso de aprendizaje, a la vez que interaccionamos con los procesos de otros
y les aportamos algo nuestro, único e irrepetible.
En ocasiones
pensamos que necesitamos conocerlo todo a la perfección y ser perfectos y
perfectas para poder comenzar a enseñar, a transmitir. Sin embargo, no es
necesario alcanzar dicha perfección: la enseñanza puede realizarse en cualquier
momento del propio aprendizaje, cuando se siente así, cuando se siente esa
llamada interior a hacerlo, por un bien común, más allá de uno mismo.
Se puede enseñar,
sencillamente, lo aprendido y experimentado hasta ese momento, que puede parecer
insignificante, pero puede ser útil y servir de inspiración para otros.
Si esperamos el
momento perfecto, puede que este nunca llegue.
Es preferible
elegir ahora, en este momento presente, y preguntarse…
¿Qué puedo
aportar? ¿Cuáles son mis dones? ¿Cómo puedo desplegarlos y ponerlos al servicio
de los demás?
Repetirnos esas
preguntas a menudo y esperar la guía que surge de nuestro interior. Estar
atento a la vida: aprender a escuchar y ver las múltiples señales que aparecen
frente a nosotros y ser capaces de seguir nuestra intuición.
No se enseña
desde la superioridad. El que enseña es el primero que aprende.
Enseñar es
compartir. Enseñar es aprender. Enseñar es demostrar, con el propio ejemplo,
más allá de las palabras.
Con nuestro
acompañamiento en los procesos de otros, estamos reforzando nuestro propio
aprendizaje, haciendo que la línea divisoria entre maestro y alumno sea tan
difusa que no pueda apenas percibirse.
Todos aprendemos
de todos. Todos somos maestros y aprendices, todos somos una oportunidad de
aprendizaje puesta en la vida de los otros, y los otros actúan de la misma
manera en la nuestra.
¿Qué es necesario
para aprender?
Principalmente la
apertura necesaria, vaciarse de conceptos preestablecidos para dar la
bienvenida a nuevos conceptos desde un estado de necesario vacío y amplitud
interior. Soltar lo que ya no sirve para recibir lo que llega en su lugar, y
encarnarlo en nuestra vida, para que el aprendizaje se convierta en
experiencia, sentida y vivida.
¿Cómo saber si es
el momento para enseñar?
Únicamente hay
que sentir esa Llamada y decidirse a hacerlo, convertirse en una luz que mira
más allá de sus propios intereses, hacia los de otros. Vivir desde dentro este
compromiso y convertirse en el portador de un mensaje, que no es suyo, sino que
fluye a su través. Este mensaje será único e irrepetible, como lo somos todos y
cada uno de nosotros. Compartir nos convierte en maestros de nosotros mismos.
Las enseñanzas de
“Un Curso de Milagros” (UCDM), nos reiteran una y otra vez que todos somos Uno,
una única realidad más grandiosa de lo que son capaces de ver nuestros ojos.
Derivadas de esta
Realidad de Unidad, y relacionadas con el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, se
desprenden las siguientes afirmaciones de UCDM:
“No puedes darle nada a otro, ya que únicamente te
das a ti mismo. Enseñar no es otra cosa que convocar testigos para que des fe
de lo que crees. Toda situación tiene que ser para ti una oportunidad más para
enseñarles a otros lo que tú eres, y lo que ellos son para ti”
“El contenido verbal de lo que enseñas es
irrelevante. La enseñanza que yace tras lo que dices es lo que enseña. Enseñar
no hace sino reforzar lo que crees acerca de ti mismo”
La enseñanza
puede ser sencillamente tu presencia, el amor que emana de ti hacia otros.
En medio del caos
y la desesperación que en ocasiones parecen dominar el mundo, Dios envía a sus
maestros, para que lleven a cabo su acompañamiento, su función de traer júbilo
y esperanza a este mundo.
Al mismo tiempo,
Dios, la Fuente, la Consciencia eterna… no es algo que esté fuera de nosotros,
es una dimensión interna, presente en todos nosotros. Todos podemos ser
maestros de Dios y aportar nuestro granito de arena para el bien común. Insisto
en que no es necesario se perfecto para pasar a la acción, más aún, si fuésemos
perfectos, ya no tendríamos necesidad de estar aquí, en el aprendizaje del
mundo.
“Los maestros de Dios no son perfectos pues de lo
contrario no estarían aquí.
Este mundo es una escuela, un lugar de aprendizaje
para todos los que estamos aquí”
“Su misión (de los maestros de Dios) es alcanzar
la perfección aquí, y por lo tanto, la enseñan una y otra vez, de muchísimas maneras,
hasta que la aprenden”
“La Llamada es universal. Los maestros de Dios son
los que han respondido”
…Y al responder,
se han convertido en los salvadores del mundo. Cada uno de ellos es un portador
de la salvación, una luz que ha entrado en las tinieblas para alumbrar el
camino, y ve sólo la inocencia en todo y en todos…
Únicamente es
necesario sentir esa llamada y responder a ella, convertirse así en un maestro
de Dios, en un canal a través del cual fluye lo que sea necesario.
“Su función es ahorrar tiempo. Con su renacer,
renace el mundo”
Los maestros nos
ayudan pues a avanzar de una forma más eficaz, a evolucionar y renacer desde
nuestra propia esencia.
“A cada uno de los maestros de Dios le han sido
asignados ciertos alumnos, los cuales comenzaran a buscarle tan pronto como el
haya contestado la llamada. Sus alumnos le han estado esperando, pues su
llegada es segura.”
“Tan pronto como el elija desempeñar su papel, sus
alumnos estarán listos para desempeñar el suyo. Cuando esté listo para
aprender, se le proveerá de las oportunidades para enseñar.”
“Cuando alumno y maestro se encuentran, da
comienzo una situación de enseñanza-aprendizaje, ya que el maestro no es quien realmente
quien imparte la enseñanza.”
Siempre que dos o
más se juntan con el verdadero propósito de aprender, hay una fuerza más allá
de su aparente limitado ser que les habla y se comunica a través de ellos, algo
más grande que ellos mismos fluye a su través.
“En esta situación de enseñanza-aprendizaje, cada
uno aprende que dar es lo mismo que recibir”
Y ahí, a la luz
de esta nueva e interesante consideración, las fronteras entre maestro y
alumno, entre quien enseña y aprende, todo lo que antes parecía separarles y
diferenciarles, se difumina ahora y desaparece.
“Y así, el que era alumno se convierte ahora en un
maestro de Dios, pues ha tomado la misma decisión que hizo que su maestro
llegase a él: ha visto los intereses de otro como si fuesen los suyos propios.”
Que seamos
capaces de creer en nosotros mismos y en nuestro infinito potencial, convirtiéndonos
en luces que alumbren nuestro propio camino y el camino de otros.
Que todos podamos
ser alumnos y maestros, estar abiertos al aprendizaje y a la vez convertirnos
en auténticos maestros de Dios al elegir escuchar la Llamada ancestral, mirar
más allá de nosotros mismos y permitir que la enseñanza fluya a través nuestro
al compartir nuestros dones. Solo se necesita un primer paso para comenzar el
camino.

A LIGHT TO UNDERSTAND THAT TEACHING IS LEARNING
At some point in our lives, have we reflected on what we are really passionate about, about our gifts and talents, and how to share them with others?
Many of us lack clarity when it comes to discovering those gifts, which give meaning to our lives, and to a greater extent, we lack clarity about the concrete way of putting them at the service of others, enjoying them even more by sharing them.
It seems we were afraid to share, teach what we know. There is a false prejudice, a false modesty that slows us down, a non-deserving feeling, a sense of not believing in ourselves. There may be a deep fear of not doing well enough, of being judged and not accepted. And yet the first judgement is ours, which prevents us from throwing ourselves out and "getting out of the closet", walking forward knowing that we are doing the right thing. And the right thing is to share what we know. For this, it is essential that we believe and trust in ourselves and give ourselves a chance. The failures and errors serve only to learn from them and do better next time, and continue to move forward in our own learning process, while interacting with the processes of others and give them something of ours, unique and unrepeatable.
Sometimes we think we need to know everything perfectly and be just perfect to start teaching, to transmit. However, it is not necessary to achieve this perfection: teaching can be done at any moment of one's own learning, when it feels that way, when it feels that inner call to do so, for a common good, beyond oneself.
You can simply teach what you have learned and experienced so far, which may seem insignificant, but can be useful and inspire others.
If we wait for the perfect moment, it may never come.
It is preferable to choose now, in this present moment, and ask yourself ...
How can I contribute? What are my gifts? How can I deploy them and put them at the service of others?
Repeat these questions often and wait for the guidance that arises from within. Be attentive to life: learn to listen and see the multiple signs that appear in front of us and be able to follow our intuition.
Teaching is not done from a superiority feeling. He who teaches is the first to learn.
Teaching is sharing. Teaching is learning. To teach is to demonstrate, by the own example, beyond words.
With our accompaniment in the processes of others, we are reinforcing our own learning, making the dividing line between teacher and student so diffuse that it can hardly be perceived.
We all learn from everyone. We are all teachers and apprentices, we are all a learning opportunity placed in the lives of others, and others act in the same way in ours.
What is necessary to learn?
Mainly the necessary opening, emptying oneself of pre-established concepts to welcome new concepts from a state of necessary emptiness and interior breadth. Letting go of what no longer serves to receive what comes in its place, and embody it in our lives, so that learning becomes an experience, felt and lived.
How to know if it's time to teach?
You just have to feel that Call and decide to do it, become a light that looks beyond your own interests, towards those of others. Live from within this commitment and become the bearer of a message, which is not yours, but flows through you. This message will be unique and unrepeatable, as we are each and every one of us. Sharing makes us teachers of ourselves.
The teachings of "A Course in Miracles" (UCDM), reiterate to us again and again that we are all One, a single Reality greater than the one our eyes can see.
Derived from this Reality of Unity, and related to the teaching and learning process, the following statements of UCDM emerge:
“You cannot give anything to another, since you only give yourself. Teaching is nothing other than summoning witnesses to give faith to what you believe. Every situation has to be an opportunity for you to teach others what you are, and what they are for you.”
“The verbal content of what you teach is irrelevant. The teaching that lies behind what you say is what it teaches. Teaching only reinforces what you believe about yourself. ”
Teaching can simply be your presence, the love that emanates from you
towards others.
Amid the chaos and despair that sometimes seem to dominate the world, God sends his teachers to carry out his accompaniment, his function of bringing joy and hope to this world.
At the same time, God, the Source, the eternal Consciousness ... is not something that is outside of us, it is an internal dimension, present in all of us. We can all be teachers of God and contribute our grain of sand to the common good. I insist that it is not necessary to be perfect to take action, even more, if we were perfect, we would no longer need to be here, learning in the world.
“The teachers of God are not perfect because otherwise they would not be here.
This world is a school, a place of learning for all of us here. ”
“Their mission (of God's teachers) is to achieve perfection here, and therefore, they teach it over and over again, in many ways, until they learn it”
“The Call is universal. The teachers of God are the ones who have responded ”
... And in responding, in answering that Call, they have become the saviors of the world. Each of them is a bearer of salvation, a light that has entered darkness to light the way, and sees only innocence in everything and in all ...
It is only necessary to feel that Call and respond to it, thus becoming a teacher of God, a channel through which whatever is necessary flows.
“Its function is to save time. With his rebirth, the world is reborn ”
Teachers help us to move forward in a more effective way, to evolve and be reborn from our own essence.

“When students and teacher meet, a teaching-learning situation begins, since the teacher is not the one who really imparts the teaching.”
Whenever two or more come together with the true purpose of learning, there is a force beyond their apparent limited being that speaks to them and communicates through them, something greater than themselves flowing through them.
“In this teaching-learning situation, everyone learns that giving is the same as receiving”
And there, in the light of this new and interesting consideration, the boundaries between teacher and student, between those who teach and learn, everything that previously seemed to separate and differentiate them, now fades and disappears.
"And so, he who was a student now becomes a teacher of God, for he has made the same decision that made his teacher come to him: he has seen the interests of another as if they were his own."
May we be able to believe in ourselves and in our infinite potential, becoming lights that illuminate our own path and the path of others.
May we all be students and teachers, be open to learning and at the same time become true teachers of God by choosing to listen to the ancestral Call, look beyond ourselves and allow the teaching to flow through us by sharing our gifts. It only takes a first step to start the way.
