BEYOND THE THINKING
MIND
I
would like to propose a reflection: Are we really masters of our mind, or is our
mind dominating us?
To what extent are we aware of our thoughts?
Are we able to find that space of inner calm from which to observe the events of our life and to be aware of the present moment? Or have we decided to suffer, dragged by the stream of life and our thoughts without exercising the position of power and responsibility that corresponds to us by divine inheritance?

Or have we decided to suffer, dragged by the stream of life and our thoughts without exercising the position of power and responsibility that corresponds to us by divine inheritance?
According
to Eckhart Tolle, a great master of our time:
"Most people spend their lives imprisoned in the confines of their own thoughts. They never go beyond a narrow and personalized sense of identity, made by the mind and conditioned by the past.
In you, as in every human being, there is a dimension of consciousness far deeper than thought. It is the very essence of your being. We can call it presence, alert, unconditioned consciousness. In the ancient teachings, it is the inner Christ, or your Buddha nature.
Finding that dimension frees you, and frees the world from the suffering you cause yourself and others when you only know the "little self" made by the mind, who is the one who directs your life. Love, joy, creative expansion and lasting inner peace can only enter your life through that dimension of unconditioned awareness.
If you can recognize, even from time to time, that the thoughts that pass through your mind are simple thoughts, if you can witness your reactive mental and emotional habits when they occur, then that dimension is already emerging in you as consciousness in The one that occurs the thoughts and emotions: the timeless internal space where the contents of your life unfold.
The stream of thoughts has an enormous inertia that can easily drag you. Every thought is meant to be of great importance. He wants to capture your full attention.
The thinking mind is a useful and powerful tool, but also very limiting when it completely takes over your life, when you do not realize that it is only a small aspect of the consciousness that you are.
When you are immersed in compulsive thinking, you are avoiding what is. You do not want to be where you are. Here now.
Spiritual awakening is the awakening of the dream of thought. "

May
all of us are able to awaken from the dream of thought and finally be liberated
from our own mind, which is the ultimate source of all suffering.

Podemos
llamarla presencia, alerta, conciencia incondicionada.
